Altitude Minerals ASX: ATT (formerly Copper Search ASX: CUS) is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the Eromanga Basin Project in South Australia. Altitude Minerals has identified the Eromanga Basin as an area of focus and now holds a substantial ground position that has similar geological settings and prospectivity. The company is also continuing to project generate and look for new opportunities in the region.
HIGHLIGHTS
• 4,000m air-core program has commenced at Nilpinna (EL7071), testing interpreted preserved strandlines from SA Government airborne magnetics data
• Promising HMS assemblage of high-value zircon and titanium minerals identified in external review of the Eromanga Basin and pan-concentrate samples collected in 2025 on Altitude’s EL6195 and EL7071
• Assay highlights of pan-concentrated grab samples include:
- 35% zircon, 20% Ilmenite, 20% leucoxene, 5% Rutile (CUSHM002)
- 25% zircon, 50% Ilmenite, 10% leucoxene, 5% Rutile (CUSHM001)
- 25% zircon, 55% Ilmenite, 5% leucoxene, 5% Rutile (CUSHM003)
- 30% zircon, 40% Ilmenite, 10% leucoxene, 5% Rutile (CUSHM011)
- 25% zircon, 45% Ilmenite, 10% leucoxene, 5% Rutile (CUSHM012)
- 25% zircon, 50% Ilmenite, 10% leucoxene, 5% Rutile (CUSHM008)
• Drilling is expected to be completed in 2-3 weeks and will progressively test the Douglas Creek EL6195 and Eddy E7072 tenements for Zircon and Titanium HMS deposits
• Ian Warland – Altitude consulting HMS expert – is on site directing the program, Ian and his previous team discovered the world-class Jacinth – East Eucla HMS Deposits (depleted) of 301Mt @ ~5.1% HM in South Australia and saw the project through to production for Iluka Resources (ASX: ILU).
