Altitude Expands W-Project Land Position
The new claims secure potentially prospective along-strike ground, interpreted to extend the structures hosting the W-Project quartz-calcite epithermal vein system
Altitude Minerals has identified Nevada as an area of significant interest for Gold and Silver exploration.
Nevada is ranked #1 jurisdiction in the World by the Fraser Institute for Mining and is the USA’s top gold-producing region, contributing more than 70% of the U.S. total gold production.
This high level of output makes it a significant player globally, accounting for roughly 3-5% of the world’s total gold, and makes Nevada the fifth-largest gold producer behind countries like China, Australia, Russia, and Canada.
The Firenze project is a high-grade Silver & Gold opportunity comprising 90 claims in Nevada, that despite its strong potential was classified as a Wilderness Study Area (WSA), and as a result has never been drilled. However, in 2022, the project area was reclassified by the BLM and is now open for exploration. It has outcropping low-sulphidation epithermal Ag-Au veins ~1,000m in strike that remain open to the east with potential extensions under shallow cover. The mineralisation has been confirmed at surface, with exceptional recent rock chip assays including:
The Firenze Project is only 10km from the Interstate-50 highway, and has tracks to significant outcrops allowing for year-round access and accelerated exploration activities.
The Firenze Project is prospective for high-grade vein-hosted silver and gold epithermal mineralisation (low-sulphidation) immediately below outcropping mineralised veins. Analogous to the Silicon Deposit is a larger-scale opportunity for a gold-silver deposit under cover, where mineralised veins plunge under cover and intersect basin-bounding fault lines disrupted by cross-basin structures. This creates a permissive structural setting for mineralised fluids to potentially form a large-scale disseminated gold-silver deposit at the Firenze Project.

Location of the W-Project, Firenze Project and selected nearby deposits
The project has limited historical drilling, which did not test for potential high-grade boiling & feeder zones. However, 40 of 43 historical drill holes intersected gold mineralisation. Altitude has also found up to 30m wide outcropping low-sulphidation epithermal Ag-Au quartz/calcite veins ~1,800m in strike, untested at depth, with untested interpreted structural intersections.
