Exploration
The company continued to validate and drill-test existing projects, monitor new opportunities, and rationalise its portfolio to focus investor funds on the most prospective opportunities to add value in the USA and Australia. In the December quarter and into 2027, the Company is focused on advancing its epithermal silver and gold projects in Nevada and monitoring new opportunities in Nevada.
The remaining Australian project, the Theseus Project (NSW), is highly prospective for Cu-Au porphyry mineralisation and will be advanced via a non-dilutive mechanism or divested.
Nevada Silver-Gold Projects
- The Company increased its ground position in Nevada at the W-Project land package via staking 15 additional claims, securing prospective along-strike ground
- Conducted target validation process at the W-Project, including structural mapping, rock-chip sampling and a CSAMT geophysics survey, to deliver drill targets for testing in Q4
- Continued planning a Q4 combined RC drill program at Firenze and W-Projects
NSW Copper-Gold Projects
- Altitude completed an RC and diamond drilling program at the Byrock Project, Macquarie Arc, NSW, testing three of the four priority ‘pipe-like’ porphyry copper-gold targets
- Drilling validated the geophysical interpretation of pipe-like bodies and confirmed deep crustal-tapping structures and previously unmapped volcanic rocks, interpreted to form part of the Macquarie Arc. However, the intersected basaltic and ultramafic rocks appear younger and less fractionated than the targeted felsic igneous rocks
- Assay results were disappointing, and the Byrock Project has not met the Company’s technical thresholds to justify further drilling expenditure, and Altitude has withdrawn from the earn-in/JV with Nimrod Resources and will relinquish two adjacent tenements
Corporate
- Appointed Dr Paul Kitto as a Non-Executive Director – Dr Kitto is a geologist with 30 years’ international experience across exploration, mining, executive and board roles, and a strong track record of gold discoveries and value creation
- Successfully completed a two-tranche $1,215,000 placement and launched an Entitlement Offer to raise (currently open) a further $1,487,000 on the same terms as the placement, to fund drilling for its high-priority targets in Nevada and working capital
- Closing cash balance of $817k on 30 September 2026. Firm commitments of $880k expected from the second tranche of the placement, subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting in October.
