Altitude Minerals is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Paul Kitto as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.
Dr Kitto has held senior leadership roles with Newcrest Mining and Gold Fields and has led exploration programs across Africa, Australia, Papua New Guinea and the former Soviet Union. At Ampella Mining, he identified and acquired the Batie West Project in Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire, which grew to more than 10Moz of gold. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Tier-1 rare earths developer Meteoric Resources (ASX: MEI), Saudi Arabia-focused explorer Peako Limited (ASX: PKO) and Morocco-focused explorer Stella Africa Gold (TSX-V: SPX.V). Dr Kitto holds a PhD from the University of Tasmania’s Centre for Ore Deposit Research (CODES).
Dr Kitto is one of Australia's most accomplished exploration leaders. His record spans major discoveries, building high-performance teams and creating substantial shareholder value. His technical judgement and board experience will be invaluable as Altitude advances its Nevada drilling programs and broader discovery pipeline.
