This quarter, we did exactly that.
After a 15-month program of methodical, low-cost validation using multiple geophysical datasets, geochemistry, and first-pass aircore drilling, we drilled three pipe-like targets that are directly analogous to the economic 'pencil' porphyries of the Northparkes cluster. Porphyry copper-gold deposits are among the largest and most valuable mineral systems on earth; they supply roughly three-quarters of the world's copper and a fifth of its gold. The Macquarie Arc in NSW is Australia's premier porphyry province. These are the kinds of targets that Altitude is seeking and ones that have the potential to deliver outsized rewards for shareholders.
At the same time, we uncovered fresh silver & gold drill targets in Nevada, the state with the highest annual gold production in the USA. The Firenze Project is now confirmed drill-ready, fully permitted, with a 2,600m RC program designed to test an undrilled epithermal silver & gold system.
We also added the nearby W-Project to the ATT pipeline. With 40 of 43 historical holes intersecting gold mineralisation, we know that we are in the right area, but our review of historical data indicates that the high-grade feeder zones have never been effectively tested, presenting Altitude with a significant opportunity.
With one drilling program just completed and one ready to go, I believe we are executing on our vision, and shareholders can look forward to a steady stream of news flow and results in the second half of 2026.
Exploration
- Altitude Minerals (‘Altitude’, ‘ATT’ or the ‘Company’) defined drill targets at the Byrock Project in the Macquarie Arc, NSW, by integrating newly processed gravity and passive seismic data with new geophysics and geochemistry data gathered from aircore drilling conducted in 2025
- Altitude conducted a 1,501m drill program at the Byrock Project to test the highest-priority Pipe Targets for “pencil” pipe-like copper-gold porphyry systems concealed beneath shallow cover, with laboratory results to be reported once received
- Altitude secured an exclusive Option to Purchase the gold and silver W-Project in Nevada
- Complementary to the nearby Firenze Silver & Gold Project, the W-Project hosts up to 30m wide outcropping epithermal Ag-Au quartz/calcite veins over ~1,800m of strike untested at depth
- 40 of 43 historical drill holes at the W-Project intersected gold mineralisation, including 37m @ 1.30 g/t Au, 9.8 g/t Ag from 31m (W87-1)
- ATT’s desktop review of the W-Project shows that the potential high-grade boiling and feeder zones remain untested for silver and gold mineralisation
- The Firenze Silver & Gold Project was confirmed ‘drill-ready’, with high-priority targets defined along a ~1.2 km NW-SE structural corridor, and a 2,600m (9-hole) RC drill program designed
- A proposed combined RC drill program across the Firenze and W-Projects is now being planned to test more targets in a single campaign and maximise drilling efficiency
Exploration Update: Altitude Minerals’ MD, Duncan Chessell, took a moment to explain the validation steps that have been done to get to this point and why the team is so excited to be in the field drilling these high-priority, large-scale Cu-Au porphyry targets.
Corporate
- A well-supported Placement raised $1,155,000 (before costs) to fund drilling at Byrock and the acquisition and target validation at ATT’s Nevada Silver and Gold projects
- Managing Director Duncan Chessell presented at the RIU Resources Roundup Conference in Sydney, outlining Altitude’s “Pipeline” strategy, and announcing the Company’s new W-project
- As of 30 June 2026, Altitude Minerals maintained a cash balance of $1.1m
